NH voters speak on same-sex marriage

    I wouldn’t read too much into the results. Town Meetings often have low turnout and it’s possible for a group of motivated people to give results that are not representative of the population as a whole.

    "At this point, it's clear the people want to vote," Bates said. "It doesn't mean (a constitutional amendment) is going to pass, but we shouldn't make a decision for the people based on our speculation of whether it's going to pass or not."

    would accept that from a politiction only if they were severly mentally challanged. We don't get to vote on the other things they legislate...

    When will people get it through their thick heads that marriage is not something you can "vote" on?
