Interesting, My High school cancelled our prom and it attained national level news status too. Obviously not for this reason though. Also, since when is it a requirement that a school has a prom?

I'm wondering why the girl felt she needed to ask permission for this. Lots of kids go to the prom either single or with friends and girls dance together all the time. Probably nobody would have batted an eye.
I think the Constance’s date is not a student at the school and schools are often more strict about outside dates.
I read in another article that this same school was sued several years back because they had student-led Bible readings and prayer over their intercom. Looks like the school board has a history of ignoring the separation of church and state.
im jsut glad this situation seems to be resolved the kids get a prom the students hopefully will see its not her fault and the school board has been shown to be an intollerant outdated waste of space.
Constance appeared on The Wanda Sykes Show last night via satellite. Wanda mentioned that she was getting an award and she asked her to be the presenter. She told her to wear her tux too, lol. It was so awesome seeing that.
