So if somehow the Prop 8 trial fails, when the next re-vote in 2012 happens, probably Prop 8 won't pass a second time

I don't like these type of polls. Some polls just before Prop 8 passed showed a majority supporting gay marriage, but we clearly saw on election day that they're far from being a true reflection. The thing that confuses me most is how you can generalise the responses of 2000 people to nearly 38 million people. There are just so many factors that could affect these results that I don't consider it reliable or even worth getting excited about.

I will believe that the majority of Californians believe in marriage equality when I actually see it happen.

just think of it as a bit of psychological coercion martin, if people see it enough they may just believe it and stop caring

It’s unlikely the Prop 8 trial will be resolved before the2012 election

support doesnt equate to votes. the biggest problem for social change is apathy. too many people don't bother to vote... and we get left with idiot policy.

perhaps we should pass law that people have to vote to keep laws in place or they dissolve lol, so if there were a smll voting turn out prop 8 would disappear lol
