Anyone know about any progress in the area of bi-national same sex partners??

I think some changes to the law are in the immigrating bill that congress will debate soon. Unfortunately I don’t think the bill has good chances of passing. It failed last time when the unemployment rate was lower and there was some bipartisan support (Bush and McCain both supported it), now support will be partisan and people are less likely to support immigration when the economy is bad.
