Argh! This article makes me so frustrated. The parents quoted here demonstrate how necessary a Gay-Straight Alliance is- their children need to educate them that it's not a choice! Good on the students who are trying to set up the club and good on the District/Board who aren't going to ban it :eusa_clap
good story i hope they get it through. hopefully a resident lgbt supporter will see this and support them i dont get how people think its a choice who your attracted too though its not like going hmm Chinese or pizza :S
they used the PA system to come out?! that's BRILLIANT... why didn't I think of that? but anyway, what's the big deal? why NOT have a gay straight alliance, it's clearly needed
This makes me sad because it's probable that at least one of these parents is the father or mother of a gay child.
At a middle school? Never seen a GSA at a middle school... But that's really cool how they are really trying this. Good for them.
