Gay student settles lawsuit against NY district

you can sue the school district if your bullied? thats crazy :S

if we did tht here schools would have not just sod all money theyd be in debt

i think you either retaliate to a bully or just ignore it but to say i blame the school and will sue just :S

 

There is a rather large difference between the occasional taunt and being bullied relentlessly. It is the schools responsibility to stomp things like this out and if they fail to do so i believe they should be held accountable.

 

but what does it solve/ you not standing up for yourself your relying on others and then blaming the system for the individuals actions and your lack of ability to deal with the situation.

bullying aint nice but you just have to deal with it or it never stops.
again perhaps cultural thing we just dont do that here.
