Israel has a recognize-foreign-gay-marriages-but-do-not-under-any-circumstances-perform-them-at-home policy. It is, however, more gay-friendly then it's neighbours.
I like these inspirational stories. So much better than all the negative stories we come across so often. In the past i had often just grouped all middle eastern countries into being anti-gay but a few years ago i stumbled on several Israeli gay ads on youtube. That really made me start thinking and looking around and i found that they actually have progressed a fair way with gay rights. More than many other countries anyways.
that military guy in the picture holding the flag is super cute:icon_bigg. maybe i should jump ship to Israel lol get myself a tan in the dessert:icon_bigg
Frankly, I am not surprised... with all that has happened in Jewish history, it makes sense that they would go to great lengths not to unduly persecute minorities based on something as trivial as sexual orientation
Well here in my country there is no recogition of foreing gay marriages and even in the USA for that case, so at least there are countries out there more progressive in gay issues than here.
