Being Roman Catholic I can understand why the Reverend in charge did what he did. I think freedom in America means that each of us has the right to hire whom we want. I feel equally adamant that a person's sexuality is a trait as compelling and relevant as the color of their hair. Obviously there is much work to do to help society learn to appreciate the value of each individual, regardless of the color of their hair, the color of their parachute, etc. So its great to have another opportunity for learning and for teaching, so to speak. Don't we dream of the day when these lessons need not be tot!
