from what i made out so far the whole school is devastated at what has happened. this is the first i hear that he was gay tho. east kilbride from what i remember aint that bad an area too. im sure the thugs will be caught pretty quick too.
The UK can range from one of the most open and accepting places on the planet to one of the most homophobic depending on where you are and who you are with.
That's really terrible. East Kilbride is just a commuter town afaik, just showing how it could happen to anyone :/
