House, Senate could tackle ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ next week

    any service member who would be uncomfortable with serving next to a openly gay service member is the problem, not the fact that the other service member is gay.

    if that homophobic service member is incapable of serving his military with gays in the military, he is incapable of serving period. You are suposed to be intelligent/moral enough to put aisde such frivolis things.

    Also, I bet if you asked Service Members during the 60 and 70s (even some now) if they were comfortable serving with someone who is black, or hispanic, or some other race, the answer would be yes sometimes. Obviously, they had to get over it, they'll get over this too.

    what frustrates me is that there is no evidence that sexuality is a choice, and alot of evidence that it isn't, but we cant serve opening, while religion is a choice, and they cant discriminate you for choosing to practice a certain religion.
