    Keep in that the result of this trail will be appealed to the Ninth Circuit, this trail is the first step not the end.

    K. Sigh I just hope it all works out eventually. Maybe Kagan will be elected by the time it reaches Supreme Court and maybe it will mean...it will work....

    I’m not sure Supreme Court will hear the case. If it does, Kagan will be on the court by then but she’s replacing Stevens who would have voted the same way.

    also, since there has been confusion here before, and on other sites, june 16th is the submissing of closing arguements. a decision is not likely to even be within a week of closing. If Walker's history of indepth consideration is to be taken into account, it is likely that he will once more take time to deliberate. that way, his decision can be as solidly made as possible, which is what you want a judge to do. he doesnt want to appear biased...
