WBC website taken down by anon.

    Today at roughly 10:45:22 (unsure of time-zone - somewhere in america)
    -Roughly 4PM gmt+0.
    The west boro baptist church - godhatesfags.com - was attacked by users of the 4chan board /b/. the attacks are still under way and the website 'godhatesfags.com' is un accessible as far as i can tell.

    I figured you guys might like to know.
    I can give more information if you want it.
    other information;
    After planning to picket the funeral of Ronnie James Dio the WBC has been under attack and has even recieved death-threats.

    if it's really /b/ they are probably just using LOIC again which is quite easy to filter if the admin is not stupid.

    I think it is a given that the admin of that website is stupid... they are a phelps inbred family member. When you have to marry inside the church, and only three already interlated families make up the church, you cant expect intelligence to be very plentiful.

    If they did filter it then the site won't have been down for me.
    My bets are they just unplugged one of the servers or something equally dumb.

    The story behind it was that the WBC are 'trolling wrong, lets show them the right way' another story was that Ronnie James Dio was a well respected man with no reason to picket the funeral and it had to be stopped.

    the site was never down for me. maybe people from your isp were part of it and your packets just dropped.

    why? as long as you don't do something illegal most ISP won't care what you're doing as long as you're paying. and if you are as controversial as them they might even make some extra cash through charging them more for the "danger".

    Doesn't this just give them more attention? :confused:

    It's things like this that allow them to portray themselves as the victims in all this. I don't get why ignoring them is so damn hard...
