so it is okay to jam through a war in iraq that leaves thousands of americans dead without a single shred of evidence to support the claim for why we went in in the first place...

... but it is not okay for someone, who just happens to be gay, to serve in the military.

McCain, why dont you just go retire to one of your seven homes your former mistress bought while you were cheating with her as she was richer than your other wife, who was battling a life threatening illness while you ran off to pork another richer, much younger woman.

    family values indeed.

In the military, it is not the sexuality of the soldier that matters... it is purely their ability to step up, and complete the mission tasked to them. It is about their ability to focus on the job at hand, and serve with a never ceasing endeavor to finish the job as quickly, and painlessly as possible in a time of conflict.

people like boehner, mcconall, mccain, and palin dont want DADT repealed becuase they dont want people to see that being gay doesnt make you less capable of serving your country. They dont want americans to see us contribute to our countries future and well being. they just want to pretend that we have some agenda, so they can label us with evil/nazi/facist/communist/pedophile brands to try to scare everyone into voting for them.

If they truly cared about this country and its military, they would realize that denying people who want to stand up and defend the country simply only makes us weaker, and puts us in danger.

    Bigotted arrogance only hurts us.
