    Think this can only be applauded. Although disgrace that it takes a court to rule so, is it not common sense that they should not be sent back?

    Wasn't there some woman who applied for asylum in the UK for the very same reasons and denied just a few months ago? Or did they change their verdict and allow it?

    Yes, Kiana Firouz.

    She was denied asylum in the UK in May 2010 and she is still facing deportation from what I can find online.

    Kiana Firouz was granted asylum last month.

    This is great. Hopefully more of these people going through such a thing in Iran can find safety.

    great news, :slight_smile: i agree tho should not of taken a court... we should be helping people like this with out being legally forced to.
