    there working on it in california.

    even the republican govener has refused to defend prop 8, saying it is, in his view, unconstitutional, and should be struck down as such by the courts.

    whats disturbing is it only just got rejected...5-4 aint that much of a margin :frowning2:

    but it was kept off so thats good.

    So what ? The fact is it got rejected. And like in Canada, it will never have to be worried about again. Congrats DC, you truly are now paving the way just behind a few other states...like Massachusetts. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I can't' recall the saying but Adam, yes a bigger margin would have been nice, but you should just be happy of what we got...-_- It could have wound up 6 for allowing the referendum and 3 for stopping it. Instead we got 5 for stopping it and only 4 for allowing it. So thank God we got 5-4.
