    Unfortunately the culture mindset is not limited to just the NFL it's pretty much all football. As someone who is playing in highschool (perhaps college as well next year) football the one thing that I've seen is the homophobia. It's a shame because it discourages people from taking part in a wonderful game.

    Hopefully the NFL can do what the AFL (Australian Football League) has done and start a anti-homophobia campaign.

    I've heard the comments about gay men in locker rooms before. The thing they fail to realize that is just as awkward for us at first.

    A straight coworker of mine described it perfectly. He told the story of how he went to a strip club 1 or 2 times a week for 6 months. He said that after about a month him and his friends were like oh titties big deal.

    Same thing with me in the locker room. It is just not a big deal. If there is a really good looking guy I might notice him, but I'm not going to pop wood and start humping his leg.
