Should soldiers’ attitudes drive Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell decision?

    The survey is fine to see how the military feels in general about it, but it should in no way be the main force driving the decision. Most people don't get over things until they're forced like when courts make same sex marriage legal. If the majority had their way all the time no minority would have any sort of equality.

    If we made all of our decisions regarding army personnel based on soldier's attitudes the military would still be all-white. So, I don't really think their opinion should have any weight at all. They'll deal with it.
