I tried to think of something to say in response to this, but as I read this, the only reaction I could get out of my linguistic center was a low, guttural growl.

This is where I wish a mother bear would come out of nowhere and maul this guy.

 

I am extremely pissed about the fact that he admitted to hitting the child before by saying along the lines of 'he had never hit him this hard'.
