leviticus was the priest's holiness code. it was created by men *according to christ* and revealed that a priest is not to lay with a man, as they do with a woman. over the course of the centuries, as the bible has been frequently (mis)translated, the word from priest was changed to man, and from hence forth, it has been incorrectly used to condem gays.

the further statements in the bible come from paul, in his various letters, and actually are paraphrasing on the leviticus jewish priest holiness code.

given that christ never speaks out against gay people, though he lived under the rule of a society (the romans) for which homosexuality was considered perfectly normal. he rejected leviticus, and never spoke out against gay people.

tada, you dont have to go, you now know all the falicies of homophobic christanity, which is of course a distorted version of a much purer tradition that has been forgotten by facists who like to elevate themselves by claiming god loves them more.

    save you the effort.
