Opinion on Same-Sex Marriage Appears to Shift at Accelerated Pace

am I the only one giggling that the graph looks like a mishapen penis?

I notice that the base of the head is centered right on the 2004 election, when george w bush used the threat of 'da gayz' to scare people into voting for him.

 

I too have noticed that. My opinion is that the theoretical destruction of our society by allowed same sex marriage has been overshadowed by the real state of the economy. People are seeing that is the grand scheme of things it is not that big of a deal and that we have real problems we need to work on.

 

I still suspect that once the econamy is back, the conservatives will be going gay marriage ban crazy once more.
