    First of all, the majority does not hold these views. Also, these assertions of bigotry are completely grounded and true.

    I pretty sure that a majority of Californians support Prop 8 because more than half of them voted for it.

    It also barely lost. It was almost 50/50; almost as many people supported it as were against it.

    Prop 8 is a bigoted policy for sure. I was simply saying that it did and may still have more support than it does opposition and whether we like it or not a democracy is governed by the majority.

    That being said, I hope that Prop 8 is overturned in the supreme court.

    he is only right on the mosque issue, with 2/3rds of the country voicing concern/agianst it. Though that also means 2/3rds of americans hate america and hate the constitution, because they are attacking a cornerstone of our freedoms... but that is a whole other point all together.
