Against my better judgement, I am going to comment on this. Why would you be against this "trend"? To me, that line of reason would make you just as close minded as the extreme far right....which would make you just as hypocritical as they are. It would seem to me that this should be a welcome trend. Granted, not many politicians are going to openly embrace the LGBT lifestyle (not yet anyway...still a long way from that happening), but I would think that this would be a positive step forward. My sincere apologies if this is considered off topic.
