    What a freaking loser.

Last I checked they haven't changed I Feel Pretty at all >_> It's definitely not:

"I feel pretty, oh so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and fun/happy"

    It's:

"I feel pretty, oh so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and gay"

So why change a CLASSIC song >_>

His heart was in the right place, he did it to avoid bullying in his school.

not like that was going to stop it. what they need to do is teach context.

Telling Victorian teachers that they have to teach one more thing and they'll kill you. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: The curriculum is already overloaded and relationships of any kind are barely discussed at primary school. A few more homo-positive readers would help, but I'm not sure how helpful writing it into the curriculum and forcing them to teach it would be.

I agree that it was never going to stop bullying but it is good to see that school principals are at least trying to stop homophobic bullying.

@stuie haha then I won't tell them that directly XD

@danielle totally agree. sometimes trying is the only thing they can do.

I agree that his intentions was good, but maybe hearing gay in a positive/good context is better anyway?

Good intentions, but instead of replacing the word (which wouldn't decrease bullying, it just wouldn't provoke anymore of it) he should have used the original word, and used that as an opportunity to educate those kids on the meanings of the word, and why it is used - and shouldn't be used - to bully others.
