Schools should be a safe envirorment for all students.

Christian groups need to shut up. they are the biggest source of homophobia, and it creates a domino effect.

when teachers and schools do not take homophobic, racist, ethnic, or gender bullying seriously to deal with them head on, they legitimize such behavior by making it seem like because of their laxity in punishing students who do such behaviors against other students, then it is acceptable, something to do to be in the in crowd.

Most teens are not going to take part of it, but it is the ones who will that are the reason we need anti-bullying measures.

pushy christian groups need to stop trying to force their racisem, homophobia, sexisem, and general malaise of hatred upon public institutions that have a responciblity not to be the advocation arm of a religious fringe group.

In this case that christian group is heavily overreacting. It's another case of the word gay being involved causing the focus to go to the wrong place. All they wanted was anti-bullying education. That can easily be taught without gay students being a primary focus. It really would be an easy fix if the school board really put their heads together.
