Montana Legislative candidate apologizes for Facebook remarks

    Tsk...Tsk...Tsk...They will never learn. FaceBook, Twitter, etc...they are not a politicians friend.

    I can understand the idea behind it from a networking standpoint, getting the word out on event and GOTV calls, etc. For officials that have Facebook accounts normally they have a very tech savvy staffer that does all with....with STRICT INSTRUCTIONS never let the candidate or official anywhere near the site. But sometimes they slip through...any always do something stupid.

    We never let my boss get anywhere near Facebook under it's under supervision. He doesn't even know the username and password.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't all the Facebook gaffes come from the candidate/official themselves? And not some staffer who put the wrong date for a fundraiser down?
