Cornyn defends decision to speak to gay Republican group

I don't see why they are attacking him for working to get moderates into the fold. Far right fringe tea partiers may win a primary where only republicans can vote, but that doesnt mean they will be able to get the independents to go far right... there independents for a reason...

as for going to a LCR event, I dont think in the end it will matter much. LCR still doesnt have much impact on policy... which is why they have started to do judicial efforts to get their agenda forward in america.

republican politicians will accept their campaign donations... but you really dont see them accepting what LCR is trying to do.
