having read the trial transcripts, the prop 8 backers had no real defense of legitimate legal value to the case... since none exist. the plaintiffs with incredibly detailed, and had a broad swath of case studies that were peer reviewed and found to be empherically valid, which was something the prop 8 supporters lacked completely.

Plaintiffs won their case on reality grounded evidence.

defense lost on their lack of any valid points, and their own witnesses ended up supporting the plaintiffs evidence.

Could somebody just punch all of these bigoted losers in the face and then stick a sock in their mouths and tie their hands so we don't have to listen to any more of their ignorance?

The arguments are getting really, really shrill and ridiculous. They just need to go away.

I wish they would just give it a rest. Being against something is one thing, but going as far as calling the judge who made the decision corrupt is entirely too far. It just shows that they will do or say anything to win.

Unfortunately guys, the fact is, they will do anything they can to get their way. They're like any other sore loser, they complain and complain and blame others.

Why is it so important to them to go this far? Why put so much time, money, and energy into something that has nothing to do with them?

Marriage has always been first and foremost a religious institution. Most, if not all, christian churches don't even recognize state marriages as valid. As far as their religious beliefs go, what they're fighting against isn't even considered a valid marriage when straight people do it. It truly has nothing to do with them. Does it really hurt so much to let us have equal consideration under the law?
