    I don't like the fact that it calls it a "hookup" >_> pisses me off. Yeah it was most likely a hook up. But the fact they called it that pisses me off. If it was a heterosexual case they'd probably call it a date or something.

    Lol, it probably was a hookup. Idk for straight people I don't see how they'd call plain old fucking a date. Probably would call it a hookup too. I don't see how it pisses you off.

    That is what it is. And that is the issue. Had it been a straight hookup, he would not have been taunted. There's no need to be 'discrete' about the kind of hookup, and say, just in general "hookup," as the point of this is that it was a gay hookup, and he was taunted for it, and killed himself. A date is not fucking, so what else do you wish to call it? Use kind words? I can't think of anything better or truer than what is said.
