Judge orders military to stop enforcing don't ask, don't tell

    Just saw this. I'm guessing it'll end up at the Supreme Court at some point. They won't give up that quickly.

    I think its over unless the administration repeals it which they have 60 days to do, but why would they repeal it? Obama wants it gone.

    So is DADT gone?? Or is there more to it??

    They are not enforcing as of now from what I understand, but its not gone yet!

    Because he thinks it will hurt him if a judge makes the decision rather than the legislature. Just watch. Even though ending DADT has about 58% support among Republican supporters.

    In this case, it won't matter all too much, considering nearly (if not all) polls show that the majority of Americans support getting rid of the ban too. I'll be surprised (and pissed) if they do that. It'll just be them trying to take the credit for something they couldn't do themselves.
