What if he wanted to fire them? At the end, we all want equality, right? And if he felt uncomfortable by having Gay employees then that's his choice. We're human beings before anything else, that includes race, upbringing, religion, gender and sexual preference.

I bet that if it would've been the other way around: a straight bar turned gay, and the owner would've fired the seven straight bartenders, no one would be saying a word.

I agree with jede, it kind of makes sense to have straight employees at a straight bar and gay employees at a gay bar... A straight bar with all gay bartenders would be interesting.

Turning a gay bar to straight is pure uninhibited homophobia >_>

actually straight bartenders are really good for business and do really well in gay bars so they would have tried to keep them xD But here is where logic for me kicks in. WHO THE HELL CARES WHO THE PERSON SERVING YOUR DRINKS SLEEPS WITH. Wether it was gay to straight or straight to gay if the deciding factor in who stayed and who was fired wasn't how good they where at their job it is discrimination. If he turned it from a gay bar to a straight bar that is whatever people are aloud to make business decisions, maybe it wasn't doing well so he wanted to appeal to a larger crowd.

However if he did fire all the gay employees due to sexual orientation that is different, that is discrimination period. It doesn't matter if it was a gay bar turned straight or a str8 bar turned gay, if someone is fired on the basis of sexual orientation it is by federal law discrimination.
