Not surprised. He knew that he needed to keep this promise and now he's facing loss of confidence.

I move for a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Valo- I mean Barack Obama's leadership.

Once again I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM DEFENDING THIS MAN. But, in the President's defense, DADT is part of the Federal Code. The President is not King so he can not just randomly strike down laws he doesn't like.

If it were a policy by The Pentagon, sure, he could end it tomorrow. But it is not. It is Federal Law and it requires a Congressional vote to repeal it. Period.

Could be President push for a vote (like he did that horrible Stimulus Bill)? Sure he could. And that is where the blame should be. But, from a logistic standpoint, The President cannot simply repeal Federal Law with the wave of a hand.

Okay....that's the last time I am going to defend him.
