RUGBY superstar Gareth Thomas has backed the campaign to keep the Kings Cross gay.

The 137-year-old bar is threatened with being turned into a gastropub by owners Mitchells and Butlers. But drinkers insist this would wreck the watering hole’s identity.

And Alfie – one of Wales’ only dual code players now he’s switched to rugby league – thinks changing the alehouse would be a backward step.
