Everybody is allowed to speak. Nobody is forced to listen or heed.

We can call him a dick though.

    He's a dick.

The problem is that when a gay teen is feeling depressed, that comment can can push him or her over the edge. Trust me, I've been there. I know what it feels like.

Saying that, I do believe in free speech. (You know, you're free to express you opinion, and I'm free to say its stupid...) But I think when lives are on the line, and deaths could be caused by what you say, then you shouldn't speak. I don't believe someone could be so ignorant - so I take the view that pain was intended.

    Think about this:

A teenager is holding a bottle of pills. The TV is on, because if she calls out, she doesnt want anyone to hear. But she's having second thoughts - she's still trying to convince herself that she has to do this.

I've been exactly in that place, but a little bit of lingering hope made me put down the bottle of pills. Hearing someone say that - or remembering it is enough to make her think her life really is worthless and not worth living. So she swallows...

    Causality?! *frustrated emoticon*

His logic is obscure to me.

I have no words for this. Words don't do justice to how utterly disgusting that statement is. Of course, they're getting called on their bullshit, and they don't like it. That's the most eloquent response I can come up with to that crock of shit. Everything else I want to say is filled with profanity. :***::tantrum:

The problem isn't that they're abnormal.
It's that they're made to feel they're abnormal.
