    outside of bible thumping fundie christian universitys, I highly doubt any private universitys will be rushing to accept them.

    They may not be facing university disciplinary hearings anymore, but last i heard, they were still facing criminal charges.

    They likely have blacklisted themselves from all credible private universities.

    Sadly, I doubt that's the case. There are a ton of schools desperate for students, and if these guys got into Rutgers, they are pretty decent students, so some decent school will probably want them.

    But the more annoying thing is that by withdrawing, the school will never conduct a formal investigation, and that may stymie any meaningful investigation by police, since the school will now have lots of incentive to simply whitewash the thing and try to get people to forget about it.
