my church decided to stay with ELCA by having a congregational vote. I dont remeber the tally, just that we did not sever ties, and two of three pastors were strongly for the ordenation of gay pastors, saying that Christ did not turn people away who sought to lead with love and compassion, and it would be unchristian for us to turn away those who have the call.
