    The comments are so stupid.

    "OMG GAYS GET SPECIAL TREATMENT."

If you don't take away our rights or treat us like we're another species, than we wouldn't need hotels to cater to an all-male clientele.

I think it sounds horrid, over vibrant colours, designer uniforms which will be tight and cover little, alcohol and a social network for guests to check each other out ... You mean hook up ... It's like a creepy place dedicated to what's wrong with gay culture.

    Kinda scary really.

Ditto about the social network part. Why the fuck do you need a social network when you are in the same building as someone? How about actually BEING social.

...but we don't need a hotel. So what? African Americans had to fight for rights too, you don't see them building all-black hotels.

Just seems like a waste of money to me. A bunch of gay people in a hotel together... doesn't sound too good (in my opinion).

Except an African American can notice another African American very easily, while a gay person can notice another gay person....not very easily? How are we supposed to fight for rights if there's no way for us to group or come together in some way. This hotel is just an example of ways for gays to meet other gays. Or should we only stick to online shit like craigslist?

I believe they are not "gay only" hotels but just cater towards gays, so heteros are welcome but if they start any homophobic shit they would be kicked out. I dont think there should be any "only" places and should just be limited to catering to a select type of people.

True African Americans dont have "black only" hotels but they do have other things catering to them, stereotypically anyway. Its the same as guys only clubs and women only gyms. If you cant have a mostly gay hotel you should not be allowed to have an all female or male gym.

    ^ This.

I agree that there should be more places where gays can meet and greet openly without fear of harassment, but this sort of thing sounds like everything I despise most about gay culture...

Yay people agree with me ^^ thanks

It's still making my skin crawl, it'll be like a gay nightclub but with a pool and beds... You can stand at the bar and advertise yourself on the network :frowning2:

I got out of the clubbing scene early on as it was weird and creepy, just lots of pervy old guys and immature kids looking to get ... Well you know. ...

To have a hotel/resort like it 24/7 would .. Well I dunno I'm still cringing...

Who called in the morality police?

If it's not your thing, don't do it. Quite simple.
