Ok, ok, everyone can relax now, alright? McCain's taken a time out and it's ok. We're all good now.

Psh, like we actually care about his opinion.

I'm guessing he saw the "McCain, it gets worse" video and is hoping to soften the blows.

"See?! Once it was passed, I helped the change to be implemented!"

one more flip flop from a man who invalidated his moderate roots to pander to the fringe right wing wing-nuts in the 2008 election, and discovered it is hard to go back once you are indebted to the emotionally unstable fringes of a political party.

The comments on the article illustrate that all too well.

I hate fringe politics, from both sides, because it is all one big time sink/distraction to the process.

Sarah palin will not be elected president because she represents not only the right wing fringe, but the fringe of american politics known for having violent tendacies. she fans it with her "lock and reload" comments she likes to make.

he has changed his tune so many times on this i no longer care. I like that even though the repeal was passed he still talks about it like it is a terrible thing despite the fact that the surveys have proved the impact would already be minimal... which he said he would support the repeal if that is what they said... along with how he would support it if the higher ups did... etc etc john mccain can suck my nuts etc

In other words "I'm still relevant and need to be on the news."

There was a time that I actually disliked McCain because he was a moderate. Though that back in my younger hard core republican days. Back when I listened to Rush Limbaugh and watched Fox News. Ahh the follies of youth.

I think he has changed as much as I have.
