Yet another reason why I adore her. I feel like I should hate her, but she is actually sincere about LGBTQ rights.

Gaga is the only reason I don't completely hate modern pop music, and not a very strong reason at that.
This makes her officially awesome, though. Good for her.

Eh, I'd rather corporations didn't give ANY money to political campaigns, left or right. =/

Only now? You mean, the multiple gay rights rallies she's got together and multiple campaigns she showed up at did nothing for you? Most popular ones being the National Equality March in 2010, and was a very active proponent in repealing DADT, such as leading rallies, making videos to call senators to change their vote (which multiple politicians have stated was the only reason they voted for DADT repeal.)

You really had no idea she did all of that? She's a very active gay rights activist. Whether or not you like her music is irrelevant.

I have always had respect for her... both for her equality advocacy, and for the fact that she technically is classically trained (I hate that most musicians just picked up a instrument, and jumped write into writing songs and preforming, yet even years later, still dont understand music.)

I like some of her songs, but I am not a audiophile, and dont pay much attention to music anyways. I don't keep up with anyone but glee.

Now my bf and I can shop Target. You got to give it to Lady GaGa. She walks the walk and talks the talk.

This seems a bit like extortion honestly... "I'll give you exclusive rights to sell my song if you do X."

    >_> I'm with Nick, I'd prefer companies just don't donate to political campaigns period.

I wish more people in human and civil rights would extort like this because I think it's an effective method. You have to speak in the language of these bastards to deal with them, and unfortunately the only language they speak is Moola.

I have to say, I gotta give Lady Gaga props for this one. I'm liking her better and better every day.

She has a fantastic voice, as she performed numerous times live and such. And when has she ever acted?
