there are always people like that guy in the crowd... Reagen and Hinkley being a example. it is just apart of politics; stupidity and immorality abounds in the base that isent the one in power. Look at the 90's, and the rise of the militia movement. Whenever republicans are out of power, we see the mentally unstable members of the right wing form militias, and threaten violence against the goverment. we saw in the 90's when clinton won the presidency, and they threatened his life, and we recently saw Hutaree, which was put a stop to before they could put their police-killing plan in place. And we shouldnt forget Joe miller in alaska setting hired militia bodyguards on a reporter for both doing his job in asking joe for his opinion, and also using his constitutional right to both freedom of speech, and freedom of the press.

    politics is screwed up.

It always was, and always will be. This is nothing new. People used to duel to the death over pissing matches like political issues.

Man Broun needs to get taken out of politics. He doesn't belong there. He should have NEVER been allowed to run, but of course that's never going to happen. Saying it isn't going to really do anything.

Full disclosure: I'm currently reading about communism because the socialists told me to...... but the system doesn't work. It works better than some alternatives but I don't think any system will ever really work. All you can do is vote them out when you get the chance.

Well, you will always have nuts out there.
The person I work for gets threats here and there...the only thing you can do is simply turn them over to the Capitol Police, or the Secret Service when comments are made about The President.

It's not a left or right thing. The threats on George Bush's life were through the roof.

This guy is crazy. I am not sure if there is something like "Parliamentary Priviledge" in the States which protects Legislators from legal prosecution for what they say, but either way in Canada it doesn't apply outside of Parliament, and I think this was at a town hall.

Rsinwa, if you're a Republican... join their association and get him replaced as your candidate next round.

Or if you're a democrat.... get involved and bump him from office.

What ever you do. Don't sit at home and hope it goes away. That doesn't work =P
