    I think they only no longer support it because they no longer feel it will pass anyway with the Republicans in charge of the house >_> I think...

    Yah, that is the federal congress... I thought that it was considered smooth sailings in the MD house... guess I was incorrect in that.

    Yea, politicians are too concerned with their next election. Many say leave this up to the people, but they shouldn't vote on our rights. Others say leave this up to the legislature, but many only care about what's popular and will get them re-elected. This IS an issue for our courts to decide because we're a minority. Sadly, I don't trust the current Supreme Court to rule fairly just yet. :confused:

    Control, not control, I don't care. It's a bigoted country and that's all there is to it. More democrats (or liberal Republicans) need to step up and try and get in there so they can defend our rights in the United States.
