    New Citizenship Guide launched by Canada's Conservative Government mentions the Rights of Gays and Lesbians, is far more robust in celebrating the role of the Queen and in promoting Canadian history and patriotism.

    Study Guide – Discover Canada, The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship

    The Guide also includes a picture of Mark Tewksbury, with the caption:

    It does not actually say that you can marry anyone regardless of sex. "Access to civil marriage" does not mean the same thing.

    But Same Sex Marriage is already legal in Canada. So, therefore... you can marry someone regardless of sex there. Juss sayin'.

    Yes, that's true. This sentence they put in the guide doesn't say that though. Why not state it clearly.
