    A few people
    St. Patrick's Day in the city is a nightmare anyway, what with all the drunk people staggering around. I wouldn't want to be there even if I were straight.

    and you know the vast majority of people who are drunk and celebrating are not irish, or have any discernable irish heritiage. it is just a excuse to get drunk.

    I find it interesting that ireland is more welcoming to LGBT people that irish-americans.
