    He's been fined 100k. I think it's a bit excessive. In the heat of the moment, you're bound to say things you'll regret. I've shouted at referees for bad calls, and I've said things I'm not proud of. Oh well, at least it's settled.

    for someone who earns around 25 million p/ year, i don't think 100,000 is that excessive.

    I agree the amount of the fine was minimal but at least the NBA and David Stern took a stand saying gay slurs are not ok. I think that is a step in the right direction.
