    this speaks volumes about the republicans that they only allowed one expert witness on the anti-homophobia side *a actual expert in the field, not a political shill*, and this was what happened:

    "The third witness, law professor Carlos Ball of Rutgers, got very little time to express his view, defending the Obama administration’s decision to curtail its defense of DOMA, saying it was a “careful and thorough” analysis of recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions."

    I think it is interesting that no matter what, outside of Gabby Giffords recovery progress, nothing of value has come out of arizona politics in a long time that doesn't seem to be some sort of culture war against minorities. Franks continued that trend on friday, showing his douchery.
