Equality Maryland: McDonalds beating is a hate crime

I saw this on the local news yesterday, and was wondering about it.
It hurts to see anyone being beaten that brutally, especially close to home. Makes my heart break a little.

 

I saw the video last and all I could do was stay shocked. I can't believe people just stood there totally mishandled by staff and management. I really hope there are some serious changes in that place.

 

Really? People need to learn to DO SOMETHING! My brother was attacked in his car in a gas station and everyone just watched. Lucky he made it out okay, but not even a cop showed up later. We need to educate people on this thing called diffusion of responsibility.

 

This is what my mom is afraid will happen to me...

 

^ As sad as it is, try to avoid public bathrooms when you can :/

Help try to get the employees fired/be held responsible because I feel it needs to happen.

 

Sometimes it's impossible. You're out and about and you'll eventually find that you'll need to tinkle, right? Generally, I try to avoid it because I hate mens bathrooms. I get weird looks in them too.
