Texas may strip away transgender marriage rights

    I know this is controversial and everything, but a MTF transgender is a woman. She's been female her whole life. SRS just makes it legally binding. If someone is a woman under the law, then why wouldn't she be able to marry a man under the current constitution?

    So does that mean it would be legal for say a MTF transsexual to marry a woman? Just wondering if they've thought this through.....

    I guess it would open the door to lesbian couples who have at least one partner that is trans.
