Campuses step up efforts to welcome gays, lesbians I'm really kind of wondering you everyone here thinks of this. I am about to transfer out of a community college that has had issues with LGBT issues. Luckily, they have two or three fairly new faculty members that are actively working on this issue and who have just recently set up a club for LGBT students on campus. To be honest, I actually probably would not still be here if one of the faculty members did not reach out to me when I was having trouble after first coming out. I think it is really hard to be gay at a community college.
