Catholic Charities of Rockford, Illinois ends foster care, adoption services

This is incredibly immature of the Catholic Church.

 

Why is it so common that when a service is forced to accomodate gays, it shuts down to avoid having to do so. Such as this: To Block A Gay-Straight Alliance, High School Shuts Down All Extracurricular Clubs

That's sick! So its either civil unions or help the kids now? Wow.

Another charity HAS to step up and say that they would take over in case it happens. Until then agh >.>

 

That is so immature of them. Even more so, that's totally the opposite of Christian principles. That is the problem with the Catholic church. They meddle in politics instead of doing their mission.

 

They've done it several times before, this exact thing. Not even talking about the GSA thing mentioned above. In other states, churches stop their services because they don't "want gays infecting the minds of youth" -_-

 

All's well that ends well. The government is under no responsibility to cater our laws or funnel state money to their religious whims--where does it end? All studies show that LGBT couples raise well adjusted kids. If this was really about the children they would gladly place them into loving homes, but it isn't. This is about the indoctrination of youth and good PR.

these people shouldn't be involved with kids anyway. they obviously don't care about them at all.

 

yah, it is hard to make a case for these catholics actually careing for children as some have pointed out.

it is like fundementalist christians. they don't care about isreal, they just want isreal in total control by the jewish population so that the temple can be rebuilt, and the world can suffer under armagheddon while they (in their warped, twisted minds) believe they would be raptured. They could care less about the jewish population, since they tend to be the ones preaching crap and lies about jewish people.

it is basically religion having no soul, and acting like petulent children who didnt get the toy they wanted.
