    It's more like one courageous individual comes out. A few more courageous individuals come out to the world at large. Gradually more and more closeted people come out. Eventually it comes to where it is today where more and more people feel it's safe and that it's time to publicly come out.

    Anyways, never mind this Pharisee. To come out as a gay Christian who feels good about himself/herself being gay would be far more courageous than anything this foolish person is saying.
