    So does this mean they can no longer discriminate against anyone for jobs or housing or marriage or what? Because doesn't any member of the UN have to follow the UN policies?

    I think unless it specifically states that I don't think it works that way...and even if it does say that, it still doesn't work that way I believe.

    The United States doesn't even listen to what the UN says. And the Human Rights Council is one of the most popularly ignored bodies of the organization.
